Rick Santorum & the “Downunder” connection
January 2012

The things you pick up with just a little conversation. This interview was generated by a simple “Hello I’m from Australia” to Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum. Rick responded by saying he had a good friend downunder in Santo Santoro, a former Australian federal government minister and senator in John Howard’s Liberal party team. We contacted Santo’s office with our story and the end result is this interview. For those in the USA, the Australian Liberal party is the conservative side of politics. Many folks get confused when you say liberal in the USA, meaning “liberal democrat” nothing could be further from the truth! Santo Santoro is a keen observer of Rick Santorum’s efforts. In this exclusive interview Santo talks in-depth about his feelings on the Republican candidate that has surprised all with his “never say die” approach to campaigning.
-Our prayers & best wishes are with Rick & Karen Santorum & family for Bella.
